Welcome to our Grade 3 class blog! Throughout the year this will be my
primary source of communication for families. This blog will update you about
student learning and information on upcoming events and reminders regarding
forms being sent home. Please check here regularly.
Students have been working hard on learning new classroom and school
routines, reviewing the school motto and HEART values and discussing how to be
a good classmate and friend.
We have focused our attention on Identity this past week and have been discussing who we are and what makes us, who we are. We started off by reading If You Find A Rock, and talked about our similarities and our differences.
Some questions your could ask your child are:
- Tell me about your school values and why they are important
- Tell me about a new friend you have made - what is his/her name? What do you have in common?
- What are some important rules/routines of your new class? How do these help your class?
