We have been working on building and testing designs in class during science. We started off learning about fair tests and how to conduct one. We started with a simple task and have been incorporating these into more complicated tasks.
Students have also looked at arches and beams. We learned about the importance of these types of structures and have been conducting different experiments with them.
Ask your child about some of their learning in science.
For example: What is a keystone? Where do you find a keystone? What are the three types of beams you have created?
