Swimming
We are looking for volunteers for our swimming. We need one more volunteer for every single day we have swimming. If you can volunteer please let me know asap!

Science
We have started talking about sounds in science. One of the learner expectations in this unit is to be able to recognize that certain sounds have characteristics that cause them to be interpreted as pleasant or unpleasant and be able to identify those characteristics. Mr. Kim had the students listen to different sounds and draw using pictures and colors of how the different sounds were making the students feel. After students had the chance to talk in small and large groups about the pictures and colors they chose and how it made them feel. Which emotions they felt during the sounds.

Students met with Mrs. Jordan this week and learned about the STEAM cart in the Learning Commons. They then had a chance to work in groups on the different challenges that the STEAM cart offers.
