In anticipation of our community walk, we went outside today, found a quiet spot and picked an item to sketch. We sat together and pointed out some of the interesting things that we saw. Students then picked their favorite thing they saw and sketched for 12 minutes.
When we came back in, we got into our sharing circle and shared our sketches and talked a little bit about why we chose that image to sketch.
