This week we had a big focus on peace. Students learned what peace is to them and what peace is to others. We read the story What is Peace and students created different pieces of writing.

We also focused on attention on Remembrance day and the symbol of the poppy. We read the story A Poppy is to Remember and had a discussion on the different aspects of the story. 

 We also used soft pastels to create poppy art.

We would like to welcome Mr.Kim, our student teacher. He will be with us until December and we are excited to share our learning with him!
