Wednesday afternoon we had some Halloween fun. There were a few Halloween themed tasks we worked on during the day. In Language Arts we read a story and drew our own "scary scenes" and worked on a shape poem where students had to come up with different adjectives for their chosen noun. 

We worked on a building challenge where students used jujubes and toothpicks to create the tallest tower they could. In Science we have been learning about building with a variety of materials and testing the designs. In this challenge they were building with jujubes which is a different material.

Remembrance Day Message From Mrs. Buonomo 

As we enter November, we begin to reflect on Remembrance Day. For our ceremony this year, we are hoping to learn a little about our student’s and our KTS families’ connections to this day.  If you have a connection to the military, public service, World Wars, or any other special memories that you would be willing to share, I would love to hear from you. Our Remembrance Day Ceremony will be on Friday, November 9 at 10:00am.
