Building A Chair For Chococat

We started a new project today in Science. We have been working on learning all about Building with a variety of materials. In this unit we have been focusing on stability and have learned about different shapes that support different building and bridges. We have learned about pillars and the different types that are used in different structures and why they would have been chosen over another type.
With the different information the students have been learning about they have a job. Their job is together in groups of three students are building a chair for Chococat to sit on. The materials the students have to use are newspaper/ flyers. tape and/or glue.
The students started their plans today and got started building.
