Field Trip Volunteers 

Thank you to those who are able to volunteer on our 2School Field Trip. We are still looking for volunteers on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Monday and Friday we have enough).

If you are able to volunteer on one of these days please let me know! :) 

Valentines and Unbirthday Day! 

We focused on friendship and kindness and read the story What Does It Mean To Be Kind. Students brainstormed what kindness meant to them. 

Math

In Math we have been focusing on subtraction- with and without regrouping. Some of the vocabulary we have been using during our math talks and practice questions are listed below. 

Social Studies 
We have been focusing on the country of Peru in Social Studies. Students are learning about the different landscapes, bodies of water, traditions and cultures. We have been working through this story- stopping and discussing any relations or connections that students have, as well as answering and discussing questions that students have.
Below students worked together to brainstorm information that they have learned and created target journals about some of the information that they have learned so far.

Science

In Science we have continued to look at Rocks and Minerals. Ask your child about some of the new and exciting concepts they have learned in this unit.
